Has anyone ever tried to convince you that you have “no choice” or that something was “destined” or “meant to be”, when in fact it’s not what you want at all?
As human beings we all have choice and free will.
There is no “one single path” up the mountain
You don’t have to do anything as per another person’s idea.
Not ever.
NO relationship is destined unless it’s something both people want. Then it’s destined because that’s what has actually happened. The whole idea of “meant to be” is a mutual co-creation of what is, not what one person wants and deems to be the truth.
We always have a choice
You DO get a say about who you do and don’t have in your life. Discernment is key in helping understand what is true and right for you.
You absolutely have a say about how you choose to live, your lifestyle, how you conduct yourself and so on.
Similarly there’s no single path to healing, awakening or enlightenment.
If you don’t feel safe or comfortable with information or methods being employed by a healer, teacher or facilitator then that person is not for you.
It’s okay to say “no thank you” and choose to leave someone’s life. It’s okay to do things in a way that feels easeful and graceful to you.
Don’t ever let anyone be the authority in your life above yourself.
