Have you ever had what seems like a physical injury that just won’t quit?
You try EVERYTHING, every modality you can think of. Maybe you’ve also tried yoga, walking, meditation, magnesium baths and pretty much anything that might work.
You might get some results and yet the pain returns over and over.
It’s so frustrating!
I had one of these “injuries” begin in the year before my dad passed away
Left leg glute and hamstring pain. Excruciating!
I was still finishing my Kinesiology studies at the time, and so I had plenty of Kinesiology to help resolve it. It would flip between better and worse, but didn’t leave!
So I also had Bowen therapy, did yoga, osteo, massage, salt baths…nothing cracked it.
My spikey ball became my best friend, as well as magnesium oil, baths, and gentle stretches.
I waited patiently knowing that I simply didn’t have all the answers yet
Left side of the body = feminine/spiritual.
Okay. Got that. But it started when my dad became unwell.
It’s taken over three years to understand what was really going on.
The unwinding and deprogramming of all messages I’d ever received in this lifetime about the divine and sacred aspects of the feminine.
Everything I grew up with that I’d considered normal, was actually anything but normal.
My learning ground as a child was in an unsafe environment full of misogyny, mental health issues and more. Passed down via both the masculine and feminine lines of the family.
In the last few weeks my left leg has ramped up the message, which has meant a LOT more pain than ever before.
Without having once injured my leg, I’ve been limping and have had to walk very slowly.
Yesterday I worked out that I’m being asked to learn how to walk all over again.
And that by experimenting with my posture and weight bearing, I can move more easily.
Which had me question myself… how can I change my mental and emotional posture to support myself better?
The inner work I’ve been doing for myself has meant that amazingly the pain has now mostly subsided.
Not due to a physical therapy, but deep conscious awareness of the root cause of the issue.
Connecting all of the dots, and being clear about what needs to change in my life.
Never forget that your body is a messenger
If you’re willing to listen, you WILL learn what’s needed to support your growth and transformation.
Much love,
